TBD For those arriving early, which we certainly encourage, we will provide options for excursions and activities as well as 2-3 optional facilitated group activities for you to enjoy. Remember that you get the same hotel rate for three nights on either side of the Retreat dates, while rooms remain available.

Sunday, May 31 THE RETREAT BEGINS

Morning Pre-treat: Morning options, excursions, tours, etc
12:30-5:30 p.m. Registration
1:30-2:30 p.m. Welcome and Hot Topic: As we get closer to the Retreat, we will finalize this session and focus our time on a current and pressing topic that needs to be addressed.
3:00 p.m. This is the official check-in time for the hotel. If available and dependent upon hotel policy, early check in may be available through arrangement directly with the front desk. If it is not, there will be plenty of space in our first meeting room to keep your luggage, starting at 12:30 p.m.
2:45-4:30 p.m. Sharing Business Models: A facilitated opportunity to share business models and learn from each other one-on-one.
4:30-5:30 p.m. Reception: Get to know each other a little bit more with beer, wine, soft drinks, and light refreshments, then make your dinner plans and head for the night life.
10:30 p.m. Late night at … We will designate a place to meet up for those who wish to congregate and continue discussions.

Monday, June 1 PRESENTER-AGENT EXCHANGE
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Registration
9:00-10:00 a.m. Koffee Klatch 1: Hot Breakfast, Optional Topic Tables
10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Getting to Know Presenters: With an impressive gathering of specially invited presenters attending, we will provide invaluable opportunities for you to get to ask questions and better understand what presenters need from you to book and present a show. The morning will be structured to have a presenter meet with a small group of agents/managers/artists in 3-4 rounds of about 20 minutes each. The Retreat is a no-sales zone allowing all to speak openly about booking issues from all points of view.
12:30-1:30 p.m. A Catered Lunch
1:30 p.m. Smile! Gather for for our traditional "class photo."
1:45-3:15 p.m. An Open Q&A: The early afternoon will be reserved for a moderated open session with questions from the floor posed to the group of presenters attending as well as sharing issues raised in the morning’s small group sessions. Getting to know presenter’s needs was your top request, so you will end the day with a much deeper understanding of how best to collaborate with your colleagues on the buying side of our industry.
3:15-7:30 p.m. Mid-Treat—excursions on your own to explore NOLA. We will provide iinks to a variety of suggestions.
7:30 p.m. Dine-arounds: A great way to explore the expansive food scene in New Orleans with new and old friends, we will have a variety of restaurants specially chosen and hosted by a colleague. Check back in the spring for the selected nearby locations.
10:30 p.m. Late night at … We will designate a place to meet up for those who wish to congregate and continue discussions.

Tuesday, June 2 END-TREAT: THE REST OF THE STORY
8:00-10:00 a.m. Registration
9:00-10:00 a.m. Koffee Klatch 2: Breakfast, Optional Topic Tables
10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon (1st round 10:00-10:55 p.m., 2nd round 11:05-12:00 noon) Around the Tables: Colleagues will lead a variety of presentations and topics suggested by your surveys and reviews. Between two rounds, select a couple topics to pick up valuable ideas and share common interests and concerns.
11:00 a.m. If you are checking out today (Tuesday), be sure to do so before breakfast and bring your luggage with you. There will be plenty of room to keep your luggage during the morning's activities and through lunch and the early afternoon. Dependent upon hotel policity and your HHnors status, you may be able to arrange for late check out through the front desk.
12:00-1:30 p.m. Working Lunch: Takeaways, Runaways, Layaways, Giveaways, and Getaways. This will be the session that brings everything together, allows for some NAPAMA business, shares our thoughts and ideas, and leaves a few lucky participants with some special giveaways (must be present to win!).
1:30-1:45 p.m. A Surprise: A hotel staff member will show you a part of the hotel that is rarely seen by guests. Whatever you call it—it a hidden gem, an architecural marvel, or a historical wonder—you will be awestruck.
1:30 p.m. on Post-Treat: Taking advantage of our special hotel rate and staying in town? We will have a wide range of suggestions for you to consider as you further explore the Big Easy or return to that favorite shop or restaurant.
7:30 p.m. (approx.) Board Dine-arounds. This night will be loosely planned, so don't be shy. Just ask around as plans to be made will surely be spontaneous.
10:30 p.m. Late night at … We will designate a place to meet up for those who wish to congregate, joining some Board members sticking around for their morning meeting and others who are extending their stays.
